South Regional Information

The South Region of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Our Lady Of Lebanon warmly invite you to attend the MYA South Regional Retreat at Tejas Camp and Retreat in Giddings, TX on February 21st - 23rd.  Join your fellow MYA members coming from 9 different parishes from 4 different states in a weekend of spiritual and social community building.  Take advantage of the opportunity to collaborate with your peers in group discussions.  Revitalize your spirituality during our workshops. Meet the other young adults from all walks of life who make up our worldwide Maronite community.  The MYA South Regional Retreat awaits!

The all-inclusive registration fee is $275.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS:

The cabins are clustered in groups/villages. We will be staying in semi-private room cabins. Each room will sleep 2-6 people.

Sheets, covers, pillows, and towels will be provided.  There is ample parking available at Tejas Camp and Retreat. For those that are flying in, please contact Jonathan, Anthony, or Lily for transportation.

BATHROOMS:

Each room in each cabin has one private shower and toilet stalls. Each registrant must bring showering sandals and all toiletries.

FOOD:

All meals will be provided from dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday. Please reach out for any allergies or food accommodations.

CAMP AMENITIES:

• Security 24/7

Guest consent forms are required upon entrance. No sign-ups are required for attending activities. You may participate in any activity for however long during the time period for activities.  You may do multiple activities, time permitting. More information will be provided during orientation.

WHAT TO BRING CHECKLIST:

1. Toiletries

2. Shampoo/Conditioner

3. Flip flops/sandals (to use for showering)

4. Sunscreen and hat

5. Warm clothing for the evening

6. Flashlight

7. Recreational games (frisbee, basketball, etc.)

8. Sun glasses
